MCT NT

The new MCT NT (New Technology) series has an innovative mechanical drawing which grant the maintenance of metrological performances overtime reducing the costs of periodical calibrations.
The new MCT NT series is the result of the large use of the most advanced technologies both during the design stage thanks to the FEA/FEM analysis and by the using of innovative material and constructive technologies.

FEATURES

• Y struts in light aluminum alloy to combine the maximum sturdiness with the minimum moving masses
• Z axis ram in silicon carbide: the use of this material grants optimal performances in terms of thermal stability of the core component in order to get the best performances
• Automatic multi-sensor temperature compensation of the errors due to the machine expansion.
• Dual Read system on both main X axis which allows the maintenance of excellent metrological performances until transversal sections of 2500 x 1800 mm
• Main X axis with free expansion . Each X axis is strongly anchored to only one pillar in order to avoid any eventual distortion caused by the tensions made by rigid anchoring to all the pillars.
• Optical encoder with free expansion system. The hysteresis of the encoder is minimized thanks to the specific “floating” construction of the aluminum carrier.

MCT NT can be optionally equipped by a complete protection system made by covers and bellows on the main mobile structure (X/Y Axis).
