Coord3 - 35 years of coordinate measuring machines

1973

Coord3 was born offering mainly a cantilever jig machine addressed especially to the area around Turin specialized in the process of construction of cars (models, moulds, equipment, sheet metals…).
During the ‘70s and ‘80s more than 400 machines (like the one in the picture) were produced and installed. 
In the last years of the ‘80s the range was increate including different kinds of machines: bridge, horizontal arm and with pillars.

1992

Coord3 was one of the first to develop a measuring software with Windowsâ„¢ for manual machines.

1999

The entering of the new majority group enforced the Coord3 brand living a more International profile.

2004

Coord3 and Carl Zeiss announced their cooperation for the development and trading of gantry measuring machines.

2007

Coord3 becomes part of Metris group, leader company for the development of metrological solutions.
